AUECO HISTORYThe Association of University Export Control Officers was developed in 2007 by three export officers who saw the need to share and promote university export compliance expertise. AUECO has grown to more than 500 members across 272 institutions! The membership has submitted more than 50 comment letters to regulators and produced 7 university-hosted annual conferences.

AUECO members continue to plan the next annual conference, participate in educational webinars, prepare guidance papers, nurture relationships with government officials, and monitor key/critical issues. AUECO will continue supporting and advancing the profession of university export control officers.
