AUECO Townhall - Governance and Bylaws (opportunity 2 of 2)

  • 3 Apr 2025
  • 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
  • Microsoft Teams

We are excited to announce the third and final townhall for membership to provide feedback to the Governance & Bylaws Committee will be held at 2:00pm EST on Thursday, April 3rd, 2025. If you plan to attend the March 31 Townhall, you do not necessarily need to attend both.

No registration is needed. To access the meeting, find the Teams link in the recent Listserv email under the subject line: AUECO Announcement for Final Townhalls - Governance and Bylaws Committee

Agenda:

  • At this meeting, representatives of the Governance & Bylaws Committee will be presenting proposed revisions to AUECO's bylaws that they have been working on thus far. The Bylaws Committee will also seek input from membership on these revisions, as well as try to answer any outstanding questions members may have.
  • A copy of the document Draft Bylaw Revisions for Membership Review that will be the focus of the meeting and discussed in more depth is attached to the Listserv email described above.
  • You can access the current version of the AUECO Bylaws by logging into the AUECO Website and navigating to the following location:
    • Members Area --> Bylaws and Incorporation --> "AUECO Bylaws - Current Version (March 2024).

As a friendly reminder, and for those who may be unaware, the AUECO Governance & Bylaws Committee is charged with proposing revisions to AUECO's current bylaws. The purpose of any proposed revisions is to compliment AUECO's growth as an organization and to ensure AUECO is meeting its legal obligations as an incorporated entity in the state of Pennsylvania. AUECO's Bylaws govern the operations and activities of the Association while also contributing to the general development of everything the Association offers its members. We previously held our first and second AUECO Governance & Bylaws Committee Townhalls on 10/23 and 2/06. During those Townhalls, we received really constructive feedback from all those who attended. We sincerely hope you can make it to ensure that your voice and opinions are heard.
