Eric D. Swank is a graduate of St. Olaf College and the University of Michigan Law School. He studied Russian and Political Science before earning his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School. He practiced law in the employee benefits group of Ice Miller, LLP where he represented public pension funds across the United States. In 2005 he joined Indiana University’s Office for Research Compliance and currently manages several program areas for the university, including export controls. He is also an adjunct instructor in the Paul H. O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs.
